Map Mod - How Useful it is?

map modTired of trudging all around Azeroth and Outlands looking for quest items or the right monsters to fight? Do you get frustrated when you can’t find the NPC you need? If this sounds like your World of Warcraft experience, or if you simply want to knock out quests a lot quicker, then you need Map Mod. Map Mod is a handy World of Warcraft add-on that appears when you open the world map in the game. That’s right, Map Mod is a in-game leveling guide. This means you won’t be alt+tabbing out of World of Warcraft to find out where to go next, nor will you have to use up all your paper and ink printing a 100+ page guide. Everything is right there in the game!

Once you’re on the map, you’ll see Map Mod’s sorted list of zones and levels. For example, if you’re playing Alliance, you’ll see that for levels 19 through 21, Map Mod recommends questing in Ashenvale Forest. Once you click on Ashenvale Forest, you’ll get another list. This breaks down levels 19 thought 21 by steps. Step 1 is the first quest you should do, step 2 is the second, etc. By clicking on each step, you’ll see information about the recommended quest and the location of any special NPCs, items to find, or monsters to defeat. All you have to do is pick up the quest from the quest giver (also marked on the map), then head over to the location Map Mod indicates and complete the quest.

Map Mod makes it incredibly easy to level your character, and it includes quests for both Alliance and Horde characters. Since it breaks down quests by level, you’ll always get the most experience out of quests. For example, you might be tempted to get to level 25 in the Alliance level of Darkshore, but doing so might make a few Ashenvale Forests quest go gray, which means that they no longer give you experience. By following Map Mod’s recommended quest route, you’ll always get the maximum amount of experience from quests, and that equals leveling much faster than by simply doing quests haphazardly.

Don’t worry about hiding your use of Map Mod—it’s a perfectly legal add-on, and Blizzard Entertainment will not ban your account or punish you in any way for using it. In fact, many players use Map Mod and other leveling add-ons to make questing go faster. Map Mod is also very easy to download and install; you don’t have to be a computer expert to use Map Mod, and it only takes a few minutes to have all this questing information right at your fingertips.

Map Mod currently includes information on all of the quests from the original World of Warcraft and the first expansion, The Burning Crusade. This means you’ll be able to go from level 1 to level 70 in no time. As of this writing, the Wrath of the Lich King is less than a month away, which means that Map Mod users should be looking for an update to the program very soon. For quick leveling without ever leaving the game, the World of Warcraft Map Mod add-on is the way to go.
